FC Khalsa was formed in 1979 by six close friends and they are enshrined as founders in the clubs constitution. The club started playing in the early 1980's in the Saturday & Sunday football leagues and regularly winning league titles, cups and also Khalsa Football Federation UK Tournaments.
FC Khalsa today stands as the most successful Asian football club in Leicestershire and also have been proudly hosting the annual KFF UK tournaments for 34 years. The club made history in 2007 by winning the league title, league cup, league trophy and in the same year became the first Asian football club in Leicestershire to win the Leicestershire joint three league's champions cup and gaining promotion to the elite Leicestershire Senior football league. In 2013 the club also participated in SEMSA UK ASIAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS held in Glasgow, Scotland. The club managed to win the tournament at the first attempt with the final being held at the prestigious Ibrox, Glasgow.
Currently FC Khalsa has three adult teams playing in the Leicestershire Senior football League, combination football league and the senior vets over 35's football league respectively. We also have a strong kids & youth academy section with teams ranging from Under 8’s to Under 16’s. We currently train and play all of our home fixtures at Judgemeadow Community venue, with a state of the art sports complex boasting an array of grass, artificial and indoor pitches. The club has been established for over 34 years and welcomes new players, coaches or members to join in our continued success
